(PDR) Quick Guide

Physicians' Desk Reference Electronic Library (PDR)
combines a range of pharmaceutical databases for easy access
to drug information. The PDR Library includes PDR, PDR for
Non-prescription Drugs, PDR for Opthalmology, PDR Drug ID, and
the PDR Guide to Drug Interactions, Side Effects, Indication,
Contraindication.

Notes: This is intended as a Quick Guide to get you
started. Select the PDR online help menu for
additional assistance.

Searching

Click on the Word Search menu and select Search, or click
on the Word Search icon.

Select the text(s) to be searched and click <OK>.

Enter search query.

Click on the Search button.
Tips
-
Click on the PDR library button to perform a specific
product lookup. Select the desired tab to look up a
product by Name, Manufacturer Name, Category, Indication,
Side effect, Photo, or Chemical Structure.

Click on the PDR Drug Interactions button to check patient
regimens for drug interactions, maintain patient records
and look up drug interactions.

Click on the PDR Drug ID for the description of the
physical appearance and active ingredients of products.
