A free site developed by HUBNET and portal to over 100 important science, business, news and regulatory links. It features the Buffalo/Niagara Biotechnology Resource Directory, a list of organizations engaged in biotechnology research, education, development and manufacturing.

Welcome to HUBNET

Hospitals and University at Buffalo Library Resource Network (HUBNET) is a collaborative project sponsored by the Library Consortium of Health Institutions in Buffalo (LCHIB).

Since 1993, the network has featured an array of electronic information resources in support of patient care, biomedical research, consumer health and educational programs for the University at Buffalo and Western New York area teaching hospitals and healthcare organizations.

Remote Access

A username and password account is necessary when logging on remotely (e.g. from home); it is not needed from many institutional sites where IP authentication is used.

If you are affiliated with the University at Buffalo:

  • Use your UBIT (email name and password) to log on. If your UB email address is johnsmith@buffalo.edu, your UBIT username is johnsmith.
  • Forgot your UBIT name or password? Visit the UBIT Accounts page.
